1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using DollarJobHunt ("Service"), operated by DollarJobHunt ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users in our supported regions: the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use this Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@dollarjobhunt.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Service Description

DollarJobHunt is an AI-powered job search platform that aggregates job listings from third-party sources, screens them for potential scams, and scores them against your uploaded resume. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, the accuracy of job listings, or the completeness of scam detection.

Job listings are sourced from third-party providers and job boards. We do not control, endorse, or verify the accuracy of any third-party job listing. You should independently verify any job opportunity before applying.

5. Credits and Payments

  • Credits. Searches are powered by credits. Each credit entitles you to one search. New users receive one free preview search.
  • Purchases. Credit packs are one-time purchases processed through Stripe. All prices are listed in USD.
  • No subscriptions. We do not offer recurring billing. You are never charged automatically after your initial purchase.
  • Refund policy. Because credits are consumed immediately upon search execution, we generally do not offer refunds for used credits. If you experience a technical issue that prevents a search from completing, contact us and we will issue a credit restoration or refund at our discretion.
  • Unused credits. Purchased credits do not expire.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, national, or international law
  • Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or connected systems
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to extract data from the Service beyond normal use
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service or its outputs without our written consent
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service (excluding user-uploaded content and third-party job listings) are owned by DollarJobHunt and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

You retain ownership of your uploaded resume and personal data. By uploading your resume, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process it solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Our Service uses artificial intelligence (Claude by Anthropic) to parse resumes, screen job listings for potential scams, and score job-resume compatibility. AI outputs are provided "as is" and may contain errors or inaccuracies. Specifically:

  • Scam detection is not guaranteed to identify all fraudulent job postings. Always exercise your own judgment.
  • Job-resume match scores are indicative only and should not be your sole basis for application decisions.
  • Resume parsing may not perfectly extract all information from your document.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party providers including but not limited to JSearch (job listings), Stripe (payments), Supabase (authentication and database), and Resend (email). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DollarJobHunt and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Service
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
  • Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in job listings or AI outputs
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service

Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Australia & New Zealand

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred by the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) or the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement. If the Australian Consumer Law or the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act applies, our liability for breach of a non-excludable guarantee is limited to re-supplying the services or paying the cost of having them re-supplied.

United Kingdom

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Job listings are accurate, complete, or current
  • AI-generated results will be accurate or suitable for your needs
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DollarJobHunt from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Unused credits may be forfeited upon termination for cause (e.g., violation of these Terms). For termination without cause, we will refund the value of any unused purchased credits upon request.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@dollarjobhunt.com. Upon account deletion, we will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your jurisdiction of residence, subject to the following:

  • United States: Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction. Class action waivers apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.
  • Canada: Disputes shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. You agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
  • United Kingdom: These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
  • Australia: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
  • New Zealand: These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we will also notify you by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if modification is not possible, severed. The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and DollarJobHunt regarding your use of the Service, and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and representations.
